Admission Guidelines

Eligibility for I PU Admission

The applicant

  • Should pass in Karnataka SSLC examination or any other equivalent examination recognized by the Karnataka State P.U.E. Department

  • should satisfy all other condition set by the State P.U.E. Department and the College

  • Who has cleared standard X (10th) or equivalent examination in foreign countries/Foreign Nationals have to obtain Eligibility Certificate from The Director, P.U.E. Department, Bangalore, before securing admission.

Eligibility for II PU admission

The candidate

  • Should pass I PUC examination, with minimum attendance criteria, as per the norms of PUE department.

  • Should have shown satisfactory progress in studies and displayed satisfactory conduct as certified by the Principal of the College.

Norms for Admission

The candidate

  • Application for admission must be in the prescribed form issued from the college. Students who want to try for different combinations must apply in separate application forms.

  • Reservation Category students have to submit the copy of their caste/category certificate issued from the respective government authority at the time of submitting the application form.

  • The duly filled application form has to be submitted in the college office soon after the publication of the results of Karnataka State SSLC examination.

  • The list of provisionally selected candidates will be published on the notice board of the College and those selected candidates will have to attend the interview as per the dates announced.

  • Those Candidates selected after the interview will have to take admission to the college on the same day after paying the required fees. The admission is subject to the Karnataka State PUE Department approval.

Document Required for Admission

  • Original SSLC or Equivalent marks card.

  • Original Transfer Certificate from the School last attended.

  • Two Photocopies each of the above.

  • 4 Stamp Size Photographs and 6 Passport size photographs

  • SC/ST/Backward Class and minority Certificate from the Tahsildar by reservation Category Students.

  • Income declaration form signed by the Tahsildar for students whose parent’s annual income is below Rs.18,000/-

  • CBSE/ICSE students should submit their migration certificate along with the above documents.

  • Photo copy of Aadhaar Card

Additional Documents Required for Foreign Students

  • Provisional Eligibility Certificate.

  • Valid Student Visa.

  • Passport Copy.

  • Resident Permit.
